Kirsty Dalton was born and raised in Perth Scotland. Dalton studied her degree in Fine Art at Duncan of Jordanstone in Dundee and graduated in 2015 with an Upper Second Class Honours degree. She then went onto a yearlong internship with local art collective Tin Roof which resulted in her first solo show.
Then went on to be one of the founding members of Dundee mini make off where she was exhibition curator and event co-coordinator. Dalton also did a year’s work experience with Neo Design where she worked on Jewellery techniques in 2016. Then in 2017, she worked a six-month internship with VinSpace Art Studios in Saigon Vietnam where she was head of marketing and PR and ran a series of art classes for people of all ages.
Was head of PR and Marketing for Edinburgh’s Pop Up Makers. Most recently was an event coordinator for SAMH skulls charity project and collaborated with silversmith – Sarah Cave to create a line of wooden and silver products.
Currently living in Edinburgh Scotland and her main line of work is woodwork specialising in pyrography called - Primitive Woodland Line and sells her work in a variety of shops and galleries all over Scotland.
